Think Second Hand

There are plenty of local charity shops in Eastleigh and one in Fair Oak (Revitalise - 41 Summerlands Rd).

You can find lots of Facebook pages either selling or giving away things for free including "I Need A Whisk (Horton Heath/Fair Oak/Bishopstoke)" and FREEBAY Bishopstoke. There are various sites online to find free items: Freecycle, Olio, Freegle and Trash Nothing.

Keep an eye out for local swap events including Wells Place – Swap events in Eastleigh.

Before throwing things out think if it could be mended. There are plenty of repair cafes where you can take various household items, from electicals to clothes to be repaired by volunteers.
